Virginia Intermont College invites all high school juniors and seniors, college transfer students and families to Open House on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1-2, 2013. Open House offers a special opportunity for prospective students to visit campus, meet faculty and current students and learn about academics, the honors program, scholarships, financial aid and athletic programs at Virginia Intermont.
Friday evening: Join us for a welcome reception and light snacks beginning at 6 p.m. in the Worrell Fine Arts Center. Following the reception, special information sessions will be presented on equine studies and photography & digital imaging.
Saturday: Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. in Harrison-Jones Memorial Hall. A light breakfast is provided before opening remarks by President E. Clorisa Phillips, followed by information sessions and guided tours of campus. Students and families are invited for lunch in the dining hall and to visit with the campus community. Open House continues throughout the afternoon with Honors Program interviews, equine performance scholarship auditions, theatre program auditions, and portfolio reviews for photography, art, and creative writing students.
