VI senior Athena Demas wrote a letter to the Bristol community which was published March 27 in the Bristol Herald Courier. Demas wrote to provide her positive perspective about how the College is not only an asset to the community, but to the lives of students. She shares how her experience has prepared her to pursue a career she is excited to begin, and she speaks of enthusiastic professors and instructors as wonderful mentors.
Excerpted from her letter Demas says: “Even as a history and political science double major, I discovered my true passion of wanting to become part of the equine industry after graduation. Because of the opportunities afforded to me while attending VI, I have the chance to pursue my passion. VI provides opportunities and opens doors for many students. There is something to be said about small colleges. You are never alone.” Read the full letter in Tricities.com.
