Your path to success will begin with Virginia Intermont’s theatre program, where you will learn from skilled faculty and award-winning actors, dancers and choreographers. You will benefit from specialized classes and hands-on learning in productions and workshops.
As a theatre student, you will hone your performance skills and technical knowledge in a variety of theatrical genres ranging from musical comedies to classics. VI’s teaching and performance spaces include the intimate 90-seat Nunn Recital Hall, 160-seat Trayer Theatre, and the 1,000-seat Kegley Auditorium.
Areas of Concentration and Degree Programs:
The B.F.A. and B.A. tracks emphasize hands-on experience in performance and design. The B.A. offers ample room for electives, and a theatre minor is also available.
