Are you inspired by the works of great artists like DaVinci, Monet, Alexander Calder or David Smith? Virginia Intermont’s natural light studios, fully equipped sculpture studios, and specialized classrooms awaken an artist’s inspiration, allowing the freedom to work in two or three dimensions, digital media and natural media. The best work often comes from several places at once allowing the big picture – the whole artist – to shine through.
At VI, students thrive in a supportive community of active, exhibiting artists. VI professors help you discover your talents and define your work in spacious, well-equipped work spaces in four locations across campus. Students have many opportunities to showcase their work, exhibiting at the Fine Arts Gallery and other campus and community venues, including special events such as the city of Bristol’s “Art D’Vine.”
