Facilities
The Department of Art is primarily located
in the Fine Arts Center, which houses a large painting studio
with skylights and a private studio for honors art students, a
large printmaking studio, and a large gallery. The adjacent Blevins
Building houses a newly opened ceramic and sculpture center with
over 7,000 square feet of space. It also houses a studio for drawing
and design. An art history lecture room with a computer projection
system for viewing digital images is located in the neighboring
Humanities Building, and in the nearby Science Hall we share a
state-of-the-art Macintosh computer lab with the Photography Department.
Our facilities house modern, efficient equipment and are open
for your use from 7 am to 1 am, 7 days a week.
