For
those following the tradition of the ancient scholar, those who
simply love learning or those who can't decide which of the humanities
or natural science fields is "the one" for them,
Virginia Intermont offers a four-year degree in liberal arts.
Through this program of study, students are free to choose classes
from three of the four disciplines (English, history/political
science, biology or religion/philosophy), custom tailoring their
degree to their specific interests and needs. The liberal arts
major also allows for 25 credit hours of electives and six credit
hours of a language, rounding out an education while making it
possible to earn a minor.
