Degree Requirements

Students wanting a general program which allows maximum flexibility in course selection may choose the following course of study. The elective hours may be used to take additional Equine Studies courses above the required hours or to complete a double major outside the program. A minimum grade of C must be earned in all courses required in the major.

Registration requirement: Spaces in Equine Studies classes are limited to Equine Studies majors or minors during the pre-registration period. Non-majors may register for Equine Studies classes (if room permits) during regular registration at the opening of the semester.
