  1. The International Business Program at VI was developed and is taught by faculty who are experienced International Business professionals. The program development has been industry driven, with industry partners involved in curriculum development.  You will not only get the most up-to-date theory, you will also be exposed to the practice of International Business through real live discussions with international business practitioners and visits to regional multinational companies.  The program provides students with the conceptual skills for problem solving and the practical tools for effective operations.

What Other Features Does the VI International Business Program Offer?

  1. Foreign Study:

 

Every year, students will have their choice of either a seven to ten day short international tour or a four-week intensive summer study program in a major global business center.  Short tours have taken students to Switzerland, Italy, and Ireland in recent years.

 

The intensive summer study program will be based at Regent’s College in London.  This program offers students the opportunity to earn college credit for two or three International Business Courses while experiencing the culture and history of London, one of the oldest and most important business centers of the world.

 

  1. International Business and Trade Conferences

 

Students can participate in VI sponsored high-level trade conferences and seminars held every year.  You will hear presentations by trade officials from the U.S. Government and key foreign government officials heavily involved with international trade.
